The re-activated Blur played a small, secret London show last Friday, where 300 fans got to here the new record, The Magic Whip, in its entirety.
Blur also release another song from the record, “Lonesome Street,” which is much more upbeat and probably the kind of new Blur song fans were hoping for rather than the slow, at times plodding “There Are Too Many Of Us” that the band shared last week.
The Magic Whip comes out April 27th. Check out both new songs below, as well as a video of the encore from the London gig, Park Life‘s “Trouble in the Message Center,” which the band hadn’t played live in 20 years.
