New York (and now LA) garage rock trio Yeah Yeah Yeahs continued their mini tour in celebration of the reissue of their first record Fever to Tell, with a sold-out show at the Fox Theater in Oakland. After their first show following a four-year layoff a few days earlier at the Fonda Theatre in LA, the band blew the roof off the much larger Oakland venue. As with the LA show, the night opened with a screening of the documentary There Is No Modern Romance, which chronicled the band’s Fever to Tell-era. The band then opened with the namesake song, and didn’t let up for the entirety of the 17-song setlist, which, despite the occasion, spanned the bands entire career across four records.
