The Replacements announce “Back By Unpopular Demand” tour, playing SF Masonic

The-Replacements

Can’t Hardly Wait (too obvious?) to see the reunited Replacements? Well, you’re in luck, as the Paul Westerberg/Tommy Stinson reunited lineup has finally announced a proper US tour (their first since 1991) after a series of big festival dates last year. So for fans who’ve been dying to see the band but didn’t want to sit in a field for 9 hours or get All Shook Down (eh) by expensive festival tickets, it’s finally Within Your Reach (better?).

The band have announced 13 US dates so far, and kick off the tour on the west coast in Portland. They hit San Francisco’s Masonic Temple on April 13th. No ticket information yet, but even if this current ‘Mats incarnation can’t recreate the full 80s glory (for better or worse), it will at worst be Sadly Beautiful (sorry).
