Rock and roll icon Patti Smith played the New Year’s Eve show at the Fillmore, the final show of a three-show run and a day after celebrating her 69th birthday. Besides the expected highlights Check out photos from midnight as Smith and her band rang in the New Year. In addition to playing her iconic album Horses in its entirety (including the bonus track cover of The Who’s “My Generation”), the setlist also included Smith’s classic “Because the Night” and a song titled “Aquateen Dream,” which was a tribute to the recently-cancelled Adult Swim cult favorite TV show Aqua Teen Hungerforce.
