Portland bandmates Hutch Harris and Kathy Foster released their first record as the Thermals in 2003, but a year prior the duo released a self-titled record as Hutch and Kathy.
More pop/folk than the lo-fi/punk of the Thermals, Hutch and Kathy is being released on vinyl for Record Store Day on April 18th. Foster and Harris have also announced a Hutch and Kathy tour to coincide with the release. The tour kicks off in San Francisco on May 13th at the Brick & Mortar Music Hall. Tickets go on sale at 10AM on Friday, March 20th.
The Record Store Day release of Hutch and Kathy will also include a bonus track, “Far & Lonely.” Check out the track, “In Brilliance,” and full tour dates below…
