After finishing the touring cycle behind their second record Celebration Rock in 2013, Canadian rock duo Japandroids went radio-silent until last fall, when they played a handful of shows after announcing the release of their third record, Near to the Wild Heart of Life in January 2017. Since the release of that excellent record, they’ve been on tour almost non-stop, and played explosive two sold-out nights at the Fillmore in San Francisco in the ides of March.
